I guess I better get a post on here for the month of June. May went way too fast and I have barely noticed that it is June. We are finally in our new home and getting settled. I am unpacking box after box of all our “stuff”. Must be important stuff as we have carted, stored and kept most of it for many years. I am now going through said stuff and purging. We have waaaayy too much stuff. I will be a very happy woman once the boxes of stuff are unpacked, gone through and put away. I think that might be sometime in July. (the boxes are endless). I love our new home. It is a 3 bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath with no stairs. It is a home I hope to live in during my golden years. Grumpy loves the location, and I know will enjoy the views. Mountains on two sides (superstition to the east and a couple of small mountains to the north). There is a Junior High across the street and south of us and their baseball diamond is across the street from us. It's mostly green and no one will be building houses there. It is nice to finally get all our stuff in one place and hopefully organized. Hence the prediction for a July finish date. I am determined to get things into the proper storage modes and places so I know what I have and where it is.
No T.V. yet and frankly, I haven't missed it much. Getting stocked up on the basics so life goes on. Have yet to prepare my first meal here (a real sit down and eat meal), but hoping that can happen this weekend. I will post pics as soon as things make sense.
