I wish I had someone here who knows how to this - but I don't, so here goes:
I've been reading all the blogs, and you guys are all so awesome. You have such great things to share and it is wonderful to read about and get to know you all in a different way. Writing about things is sometimes so much easier than talking about them.
In retrospect 2007 was such a hard year. There were some happy events and that helped a lot. I guess it really is true that you have to take the bad with the good. I am hoping 2008 will be a happier time.
January seemed to go so fast. I managed to forget to say happy birthday to pretty much all nine of our birthdays in January, so please don't take it personally. I always know about the dates, just can't seem to remember to actually say Happy Birthday on the right day to the right person. I hope you can all forgive me for my lack of brain and just know I love you and do think about you and your birthday a lot. Our Birthday babies were: Clayton Wyatt, Papa Harmon, Rylee Talerico, Kevin Goodwin, Grandma Harmon, Ryker Jarvis, Shalayne Wyatt, Jenny Stewart and Colby Grace. Happy Anniversary to T.J. and Mandy Stewart on the 12th.
We had a fun dune trip in January and loved being there. It was cold and beautiful - and I enjoyed not only seeing the kids all ride, but having Jordyn and Rylee there learning to ride for the first time. They did so great. Taylor was a huge help with everything. He is such a great young man. He loves to ride his dirt bike, and is working on getting in even better shape so he can build up some more stamina. Papa Kanaga went with us and it is always so nice to have him along. He is just about recovered from his hip replacement and oh yeah - having a wisdom tooth pulled! I hope I can do as well as he does when I am his age.
I got a new computer, and signed up for classes to learn how to use more things on it. Maybe I can finally figure out how to use my ipod! My goal is to get more know-how into my head this year, so I guess you can say that is a new years resolution!
I have really been sewing doll clothes (since helping Tawna at Christmas) and enjoying every minute of it! (Well, honestly most of the minutes anyway. There is still some bad language involved once in a while) I always did like dolls, so having a bunch of granddaughters with dolls is a great excuse to delve into it again. I will hopefully continue to get a few outfits done for the birthdays and other occasions through the year.
February is upon us and I'm sure will go like lightning. Our Papa and Nana's 56th Wedding Anniversary is the 1st. This year of first occasions without Nana has really been hard, but she is still so much a part of our everyday life. I think that sometimes even though you love someone, you just don't realize how much until they are not with you anymore. Realizing the tangible, earthly part of her is gone, but who she is and how she affects us is still very much with us and only makes me love and appreciate her so much more.
Our February babies are: Devlin Kanaga, Stefani Stewart, Stacie Harmon and Carson Harmon. Not to mention that favorite Holiday of all husbands - Valentines Day! Out comes the chocolate, the sugar cookies and flowers! Its the best!
We are planning a Dune trip the 22nd, all adult this time (we do that once a year) and so looking forward to that. I always love being there with everyone, sitting around the campfire at night just talking. I need new lawnchairs. or in this case, sand chairs. Guess I better start looking for some.
Okay, enough for now. Apparently I need yet another gizmo to get the photos off my camera, so I will figure that out and put some pics on later.
Love you all, Granny & Grumpy

Loving that you are getting the hang of blogging. I to enjoyed the Christmas sewing more than I thought that I would. How fun to get to spend time with my mom and make my little girl's dreams come true Christmas morning! Even though she has to somehow survive her 7th year on this planet without a cell phone or an ipod. We are such harsh parents! Maddie really does have the best and coolest parents you know?!!!
