It seems that along with no experience with gardening, there are better brands of seeds than others. We thought we purchased good seeds, but alas, only part of the seeds are germinating the way they should. So back to the nursery (a different one) to get a different brand of seeds and hope that we aren't too late to get them in the ground. Our tomatoes are not doing so well either. I guess we will learn with experience. I hope. We are looking forward to the things that ARE doing well. I am determined to be positive and happy if anything grows at all. The sprinklers are working, the kids now understand about not tromping in there, so maybe we will have some success after all. This pic was taken a few weeks ago, and things are bigger now.
We'll see about all this, the jury is still out.

This black thumb has no advice whatsoever.....check w/ Jenny!
I'm sorry to be enjoying your sad post, Sherry...it's just that misery loves company and I certainly have been in your shoes! Luckily, I am having more luck with square foot gardening on a small scale. Herbs did well last year, so I'm adding more this year. Hopefully, we'll finally be able to eat something out of our thousands of dollars worth of gardening experiences!
Have you checked out Maricopa County's gardening guide or planting quide online for what to plant here...and when?
