Sunday Bread

I guess this could qualify for Sentimental Sunday…only it's Monday! Sunday isn't always a bread making day, but it happens often enough that I have fond memories of fresh bread on Sunday. This Sunday however was a learning day for Grumpy. He has always wanted to learn to make bread and even tried once before long ago. Those loaves were more like slump block, but he gets an E for Effort. I didn't jump on the bread band wagon for a few years after that, and it does take some practice. I had good teachers in California when I made the commitment to make my family's bread. I have enjoyed doing it ever since. Grumpy is a great student. He made perfect bread yesterday, so I thought I would post the pics I got in the process.

The loaves are beautiful, yes? Thanks Grumpy for getting us great equipment so breadmaking is fun to do. You did great!
