We had a few more girls in the house last week than usual. Emersyn and Lauren came to play for a few days and we enjoyed the drama that only girls can bring. Emersyn was not happy at first, but did okay after the first day. Cutting teeth, missing Mom and Dad, and not being in familiar environs was a little too much at first. Lauren was fine, but a little confused about what happened to Mom and Dad. She did fine until the last night and last morning. She would point at Jade and say, “Mom?” I would say, well, that's momma Jade. Your momma will be back soon. The last morning she was a little sad and I think was wanting her home back. Emersyn loved being outdoors watching the boys ride bikes and scooters. Lauren loved being out there too, but the scooter thing is a little beyond her yet. She would drag it around the driveway, just grinning. Vicarious scooter riding? She was too funny. We had fun, and hope the girls did too.
Jaxon, Ryker, Aden, Bob, Jade, Jeff, Granny, Grumpy and Papa. If it truly takes a village we qualified. Everyone helped and made the experience a good one. We hope Taya got a much needed break. She deserves some kind of award for the good job she does. But then I feel that way about all our good moms.

If I'd known grandkids were this much fun, I'd have had them first! They are so much fun, cuz you know you only have them for awhile, and so you only have fun, we don't have to do all the "hard" stuff! Then they go home and Mom and Dad get to do that! LOL!
Thanks for all the help! By myself would have been a hard week. I don't know how Taya does 5 kids all the time! WoW!!
