A Big Hand For…

I wanted to do a shout out for my sweet daughter Jade. She is so good to keep us all looking good - and that is no small feat where I am concerned. I don't pay much attention to my upkeep these days, and she is slowly inspiring me to care a little bit more. I'm really tired of the whole make-up thing and often ask myself: “If my husband can be so good looking with nothing more than a shower and and basic hair comb, why can't I?” Aside from the societal issues with that reasoning, I know I look better with a little make-up. I guess I'll try and be better at just the basics so I won't look like such a train wreck most of the time. Another resolution? Maybe, we'll see how it goes. I love the way nails look on people, but I am so hard on my hands I always worry that I won't be able to keep them looking nice. I am constantly in water, trying to scrape something off, picking up boxes of stuff, wiping something down, you get the drift. She put a set of the toughest acrylic known to man and made them really short, so maybe it will work. I so appreciate all Jade does for all of us. She is the bomb and I love her and her cute family so very much.

I'm not one for fake nails either, but yours look great! Jade is very talented. BTW, I love the picture of you in your header, especially your sassy hair! I wish my mom would do something that spicy. :o)

Too cute! I had to give up nails for lent. Then I chewed mine all off from stress! I like them thin like those look! Good Job! I love that Mandy can do my hair, or I would be gray and old looking, instead of brown and old looking! LOL!

LOL! Aunt Sherry you are too funny! I just told Jeremy the other day that maybe it's time I started wearing more than mascara as far as make-up goes...he is a little concerned about my lack of experience applying it...lol!
