Pinewood Derby. The very Title inspires visions of fathers (and hopefully sons) working on little wooden cars that will win the day. Austin and R.B. worked on his car diligently, and even got some technical help from Stacie. She had a secret or two to offer. It was a really a fun experience for me to watch the progress and I enjoyed seeing R.B. have fun working on this little project with Austin. I didn't go to the Derby, but Grumpy did. He said Ausin's car won the first race by a long way, and then developed mechanical difficulties. One wheel refused to stay put. Not to worry, he won the award for “Best Looking” car. There's always next year to win the speed heats. Glad you guys had fun and have such a fine looking car to remember the experience. Cute refreshments too.
