Gramma Harmon won't be here next week for mother's day. She and Papa are traveling that day on their next adventure. I am posting this today in hopes she will see it before she goes. I know she has always loved yellow roses. All roses really, but it seems she has yellow ones cut and in vases a lot. She has such wonderful organizational talent. Everything is in it's place, and I think that is awesome. I wish I could do that. She is really enjoying the digital age. Gramma is getting to be a pro on her little camera, having fun on her computer and has learned how to do the internet and email and so forth. Kudo's to her for learning new stuff. It's not so easy sometimes to do that. One thing we have always teased her about is there is really only one way to do something: her way or the wrong way. I know my husband thinks he married someone just like his mom in that regard! That is a whole other subject. Some other things we really appreciate about Mom Harmon are:
- She is always happy to see you. Even if she has had the worst day ever, or is upset with someone, she never takes it out on you.
- She is forever wanting to know what she can do to help. Bringing a dish of something, cleaning up after dinner or whatever.
- I have never seen her look really bad. Very neat in her appearance - again something I wish I was better at.
- She tries to attend everyone's reception. I really admire that. She so enjoys going to see the bride and groom and other friends that would be there.
- She shops the bargains at the grocery stores and can tell you where all the deals are.
- She is a very kind woman. I don't remember ever hearing her speak badly of anyone.
- A dedicated friend. She really takes care of her friends. Loves to visit, is thoughtful of their likes and dislikes and cares deeply about them.
- She loves her children so much. I know she worries and is concerned over all the things that happen in life, it's nice to know she care about everything going on with us all.
- She really likes Baskin Robbins. Just ask her where one is, and she can tell you many locations.
- She can tell you a lot about who is related to who. I don't know how she keeps it all straight, but she knows half of Mesa - and that is saying a lot.
- She is a wonderful servant in the Church. She really takes her callings to heart and is such a good visiting teacher etc. Again, something I can learn from.
We love you so much Gramma. Please be safe while you are off seeing the northern parts of the country. We will miss you. Remember to call and let us know you are safe. You aren't the only one who worries you know!

You're a pretty awesome mom yourself!
Amen!!!!
Does grandma know how to get on and read this beautiful tribute???
I love you too Dorothy.
Yep, Superwoman, that's My Mom! She is never too tired to help someone. And if everyone she knows doesn't need help, then she goes and recruits someone....no kidding!
