January - The Birthday Month!

We have just a few birthdays in January as seen in the side panel. Good month to have a baby in Arizona, nice and cool. We went to a nice sort of surprise party for Papa H's “80th” this week. Gramma did a great job getting a spread of chips, dips, crackers, spreads, and of course Birthday cake all laid out for the many people that came to express their Birthday Wishes. It was so nice to see so many in our family there. I had to “borrow” this pic of Papa from Jacque's blog as I forgot my camera that night. We had a great time talking to everyone, meeting neighbors and friends and enjoying the food.

For all our Cooks…

I created a site for us to post Nana's recipes, and our own recipes, complete with pics as we make them. I hope it will be fun to share all the things we do everyday in our kitchens. All of us have our favorites, things that challenge us and the special things we do for holidays etc. I hope you will all feel welcome to contribute and reap the benefits of all of us cooks.
