Or is it one bird in hand is worth two in the bush? One of those idioms anyway. Two birthdays on the same day - three times this month! What are the odds? Coming up we have Daron and Chance. It's so exciting to have Daron here for his birthday this year. The big 10 for him. Chance is turning 4 with kindergarten in the wings for next year. Huge OH YAY for that. I'll do age before beauty (I'm just full of those goofy idioms today) and list 10 attributes we like about Daron first.
- He has some really great moves on the dance floor.
- That he loves to play guitar hero.
- He has the best freckled nose and cheeks ever.
- That he loves all things active (except chores of course)
- He has two “hollow legs” that surely must be the reason he is hungry ALL THE TIME!
- That he is such a great big brother.
- He has such love for his family.
- That he believes electronic devices were invented just for him.
- He is accepting the challenge of a new school this year and learning how to do his best there.
- That he is the sweet, handsome boy that we all love so much.
Daron is certainly rising to the challenge of learning to be a better student and getting into his new Weeblos group and all the things that go on at the first part of any school year. Every year is different and of course as he gets older every year brings more challenges. Just part of growing up and he has really exceptional parents in his corner. Taya and Kevin, as well as Christy and Albert all want the very best for him. He is a lucky young man to enjoy so much love and concern from so many people in his life. We love you Daron - have a happy day.
Chance, Chance, b0-bance, banana ana fo fance, fi, fie, mo mance - CHA-ANCE! This is the little guy that you would swear was twins if you didn't know better. I'm sure if you looked him up in the dictionary under energy, his name would be there. Oh no - another idiom coming up… he lives and runs around like his hair is on fire! For sure. He is an amazing little guy. So sweet in his way. So onery - in many ways. Too dang cute and it's a good thing. As RB would say, it's a good thing they are cute, otherwise they might not make it to their next birthday. The picture of him above shows the happy twinkle ever present in his eyes, unless he is in trouble of course. It was taken on Mother's Day and he was excited to give his mom her card. Chance is:
- The best toilet cleaner I've ever seen (especially for 4 yrs old)
- Has the most developed calf muscles in the world (because he still walks on his toes 90 % of the time)
- Loves to help with whatever you will let him help with (except cleaning up of course)
- Is the only 4 year old I know who puts on deodorant and after shave every day (just has to be like Dad)
- Has the best collection of plastic animals I have ever seen
- Loves to get the Pixar CARS books I have out to read. All four of them.
- Will send himself to the time out chair or his room when he is in trouble.
- Absolutely loves the beach where he spends time with his Grammy and Grandpa Mower.
- Has a healthy dose of his Dad's mischievousness
- A face you can't help but love (and forgive) instantly
Chance, Chance bo bance, banana ana fo fance, fi, fie, mo mance, Cha ance. Love you lots buddy.

Too cute for words....aren't we lucky to have the cutest grandkids in the whole world??? And we're not prejudiced at at all!
I agree. I always say the Lord knew what he was doing to make them so cute. Just have to love them to pieces. Or like my sign in the house that says “I love you to the moon and back!”
I had the best birthday in my life!
It was awesome to turn double digets.
