Kaitlin is turning the magical age of 12 and will say goodbye to primary soon. She has been blessed with good parents and teachers and they have taught her well to be the wonderful young woman she is becoming. I always tell my granddaughters the story of the pretty girl and the plain girl. The synopsis of the story:
The pretty girl knows she is pretty and becomes vain. She is selfish, self centered and loves nothing more than her own reflection. The plain girl grows up and learns to be a peacemaker. She serves her family and friends and always puts others needs before her own. She loves nothing more than to make others happy. After many years the pretty girl looked in the mirror one day and realized to her horror she wasn't pretty anymore. In fact, she was rather ugly. Her face had come to portray all that she was inside. The plain girl got prettier and more beautiful as the years went by. Her face was all that she was inside and was truly beautiful.
Kaitlin is already a pretty girl, but she is pretty inside and out. She will grow in beauty as she lives up to the goals she has set for herself, and lives the standards of Young Women in her everyday life. She is an amazing girl.
